Sanjos Metropolitan Senior Secondary School Thalassery
Sanjos Metropolitan Senior Secondary School Thalassery is an educational venture of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tellicherry. One may doubt the need of yet another school at a time when the Government is closing down schools. Our answer is that Sanjos Metropolitan School is not just another school in Tellicherry but a unique school providing educational and all other facilities for the integral development of the students.
Many parents were insisting on starting a school by the Archdiocese, seeing the high academic standards maintained by other institutions of the Archdiocese such as Nirmalagiri College, Vimal Jyothi Engineering College Chemperi, Self financing Arts & Science Colleges at Alakode and Paisakary, 10 Higher Secondary Schools, 24 High Schools and 55 Primary Schools spread over Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
It is an English Medium co-education school, following CBSE syllabus with emphasis on the character formation of the children.

What we do
Sanjos Metropolitan School conducts a number of programs such as Karate, Yoga, Sports and Games, Drawings and Paintings, Dance and Music etc.

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Archeparchy of Thalassery is an ecclesiastical province of the Syro-Malabar Church in Kerala, India, covering the territory of Kannur and Kasargode districts.
The Diocese of Tellicherry was erected on 31 December 1953 against the backdrop of the large-scale migration of thousands of Syro-Malabar Catholics from South to the Northern forestlands of Kerala. Its history is closely connected with the Malabar Migration and the growth of the region.
Over the years, the diocese grew and evolved, eventually being raised to the stature of Metropolitan Archdiocese in 1995.
